Rosary Crafting
On Monday night, a group of dedicated and compassionate Mazenod College Parents & Friends mums gathered at the school to learn the art of crafting rosaries. But this endeavor was not just for personal enrichment; it was a proactive step towards supporting the spiritual education of our students.
These mothers embarked on this journey to assist Mr. Robert Zaar in some of his Religious Education (RE) classes. Their mission? To create rosaries that will be used in the coming year to welcome our new Year 7 students.
Crafting rosaries holds a special significance. These prayer beads are not just beautiful pieces of art but symbols of faith, reflection, and a tangible connection to the divine. By dedicating their time and effort to this project, these parents aim to instill in our future generations the values and traditions that Mazenod College stands for.
The rosaries, crafted with love and devotion, will serve as a powerful tool in the hands of our dedicated educators like Mr. Robert Zaar. They will be used to teach our students the importance of faith, meditation, and the spiritual journey that defines the Mazenod experience.
This heartwarming initiative embodies the essence of our Parents & Friends Association: coming together to support our beloved Mazenod College and ensuring that the values we cherish are passed down to our young scholars.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the parents who took part in this wonderful endeavor. Your dedication and commitment to the well-being and spiritual growth of our students are truly inspiring.
As we look forward to a bright and promising future for Mazenod College, let's continue to nurture our community's spirit and values, knowing that together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of our students.
We welcome all parents and guardians. Please register to join the association and be part of this growing group of parents who seek to be more engaged and part of the Mazenod life!
