Community Care &
Connection
Wow! Have you seen the impact our wonderful school community is having on this year's Lutheran Care '12 Days of Giving'? Thank you to all for your donations. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates each Saturday for the following week of items that are still low in the pantry.
While Lutheran Care are listing 12 different items to be collected over the 12 Days of Giving, we understand that some families may not be able to stretch their budget this far and we are grateful for any donations you are able to give. We look forward to the front office being filled with Christmas Hamper donations.
Our last KAPS event for this year is coming up on Sunday 26th November, from 4 to7pm. (Please note extended time.) We will be celebrating Christmas in November with activities, worship and a meal, so pop it in your diaries now!
Ignite (for young people in Years 7-12) is on at the same time. If you have older siblings or friends, please let them know! The more… the merrier! Looking forward to seeing you soon!

How has your week been? Any challenges? Any celebrations? I’m sure you have some stories to share! If you have a few minutes (or a lot of minutes) and you feel like meeting some people or reuniting with older friends, you are most welcome to pop into the Church Café tomorrow morning (Friday) 8:30am to 10:00am and share some tea/ coffee and conversation!
Why not invite someone along this week? You never know how you might change someone’s day (for the better) just by turning up and having a chat! Please enter via the courtyard. Toddlers are welcome (there is a small playground for them to play in; we just ask that you keep an eye on them for safety reasons). See you tomorrow!
Blessings,
Georgie

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the dedicated volunteers who have generously contributed their time and effort to our school community this year. Your support has made a significant impact, and we would like to express our appreciation.
To commemorate your valuable contributions, we are hosting a special Volunteer Appreciation Morning Tea on the 22nd of November (week 6), taking place from 8:15am to 8:45am in the church.
As this is a catered event, we kindly ask that you please scan the QR Code on the invitation provided or email Claudia to RSVP your attendance.
Starting at a new school can be daunting, and for people new to the school environment this can be especially so.
To help our new Foundation families feel welcome as they begin their journeys with us in 2024, we are looking for parents who would like to become that ‘friendly face’ helping families around the school to find their way around, ease them into routines, and get to know our processes and events.
You would be ‘buddied’ with a new school family (or perhaps more than one family) and help them feel comfortable by doing things like:
We need just 30 people to make this wonderful initiative happen.
To participate, please contact Georgie via email by Thursday 23rd November.
Further information regarding logistics will be shared with you once you have registered your interest.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Blessings,
Georgie
