YEAR 10 HEALTH CLASS

DRIVERS EDUCATION
On Tuesday,13th May, 16 of our Year 10 students began their journey toward becoming safe and responsible drivers. The course, designed to teach both the rules of the road and practical driving skills, included classroom instruction, behind-the-wheel training, and safety awareness sessions. With support from certified instructors and a strong community focus, the students were able to learn some valuable skills that will assist them in securing their drivers licence and being safe on our roads.
BABIES
Over the last couple of weeks the year 10 Health class have been participating in a simulation parenting activity. This has involved caring for our lifelike, electronic, parenting mannequin. The mannequin cries periodically throughout the day and night. The students have been responsible for providing proper care as if this were a real baby. All students did a great job with many feeling the effects of lack of sleep after their night as a parent. Thank you to all parents and families who also assisted the Year 10 students to care for their baby at home.
