Foundation weeding Wednesday

 After a short lesson on identifying weeds, our eager Prep A students had their first go at weeding to help our native animals and plants. 

Guided by their newfound knowledge, they got stuck in, clearing the grounds with enthusiasm!

This initiative, Weeding Wednesday, is a wonderful project started by Kellie Marks, where parents gather weekly to help keep our school grounds tidy. Inspired by this, our sustainability coordinator, Toby, saw an opportunity to extend the effort to include students as well.

Prep A had a fantastic time and were incredibly proud of their efforts! If you find yourself sitting on the benches along Speight Street, take a moment to admire the cleaner, greener surroundings thanks to our hardworking Preps!
