National Walk Safely to School Day

Now in its 26th year, National Walk Safely to School Day (WSTSD) is an annual event when all Primary School children will be encouraged to walk and commute safely to school. It is a Community Event seeking to promote Road Safety, Health, Public Transport and the Environment.

Aussie Bird Count

A huge thank you for being part of the 2024 Aussie Bird Count! Whether you counted one bird or hundreds, your participation helped make last year's citizen science event another incredible success. 

Together, 57,012 participants submitted 129,680 surveys, counting a staggering 4,117,293 birds across Australia! The top three birds recorded nationwide were:  

 1. Rainbow Lorikeet 🥇

 2. Noisy Miner 🥈

 3. Australian Magpie 🥉
