2025 Production Camp

This year, the Rock of Ages cast took part in the 2025 Production Camp, a highlight we look forward to every year. Over two exciting days, we built stronger connections, deepened our understanding of the musical, and had a lot of fun. Day one focused on singing through each song and going through some scenes, while day two featured our first full run-through of the show. This was super exciting as we were finally able to see the show come to life.  A standout moment was our first-ever cast talent show,  a new tradition filled with laughs, friendly competition, and unforgettable memories. From great food to endless hot chocolates, the experience brought us closer together. We’re incredibly thankful to our teachers and so ready to bring Rock of Ages to the stage!

Year 9 Personal Best Night

On Thursday, the 26th of June, our Year 9 students displayed all their hard work for our 2025 Personal Best night. The night gave students the opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments over the first two terms. The Leadership Academy Students presented during the night, and we witnessed some incredible performances from the College Production and an excellent cultural display.

Thank you so much to everyone who purchased food and drinks on the night, as all money raised will be donated to the Royal Children's Hospital. A special thanks to Laurimar Woolworths for kindly donating the sausages, onion, bread and drinks.

The Year 9 students were also very grateful for the amazing support they received on the night from friends and family, as well as the interest shown from the community. It was great to see students from across the College having the opportunity to view the completed works and ask questions of our Year 9 students. The Year 5 students enjoyed themselves, handing out stars to the people they believed had shown the most personal growth over the semester. It was great to see all the Year 9s who participated in the personal best night, with their finished projects, highlighting so many achievements across Semester One. Your hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed!

Thanks to everyone who helped out to make the night a memorable one.

Year 10 and 11 Exams Completed

Congratulations to all students who have successfully completed their Year 10 and Units 1 and 2 Exams. Teaching and leadership staff at the College have been impressed by the commitment and dedication shown by our students to their learning.

Year 12 Formal

Our Year 12s were looking fantastic, all dressed up for their formal at Plenty Ranges Arts and Convention Centre. It was a night filled with great food, lots of laughs and dancing.

Year 7 & 9 Hope Tour

This week, our Year 7 and 9 students participated in an incursion with the Hope Tour. This interactive incursion shares messages through music and guest speakers. It is an opportunity for students to listen and reflect on what is positive in their lives, but also acknowledge that there are times when young people struggle.

There were two amazing individuals leading our Hope Tour visit, Benji Greenwood (speaker) and Tony O'Rourke (musician). Benji delivered a dynamic motivational session, focused on resilience and hope for secondary students. Tony, a talented Kiwi artist now based in Melbourne, brought unique energy and joy to his performance, forging a meaningful connection with young people.

Many students were engaged, clapping, dancing and showing their enthusiasm for these performers. It was a wonderful event!
