MOTHER’S DAY STALL

We are pleased that our Mother's Day stalls were a fabulous success, with much delight shared by all. Firstly, we would like to extend a warm thank you to the following members of our Mother's Day Committee:

Without their time and effort the Mother's Day Stall's would not have been possible!

CAKE RAFFLE

We are still looking for some happy bakers to join our cake raffle roster. If you would like to contribute one week, we have posted a sign-up sheet in the office. Please feel free to put your name down on a date that suits. You can either bake a cake or purchase one to donate.

TRIVIA NIGHT – Friday 30 May

Tickets are on sale NOW at $25 per person!

 

Organise your own table of 8-10 or buy single tickets and we will coordinate a table for you.

This year we are going ‘BACK TO SCHOOL’ so relive your childhood and come dressed in your school uniform (whatever that looks like for you) or accessorise in any way you like. 

There will be a prize for the best dressed table!

 

We will be raffling off a meat tray worth $150 which will be kindly donated by the Floros family!

 

Raffle tickets will be sold on the night for $2 each or 3 for $5. (EFTPOS available on the night).

 

We will also hold some mini games during the breaks so come prepared with lots of gold coins.

 

COMMUNITY COOKBOOK

We are looking for submissions of recipes to create the Christ Our Holy Redeemer Community Cookbook. 

Recipes can be from any of the following categories:

  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Dinner
  • Lunchbox
  • Air Fryer
  • Sweets

You can upload your recipes to www.publishedAuthors.com.au 

 

Please make sure to include your family’s surname and the first name/s + grade of the child. Eg “The Smith Family - Tom 1/2A, Steve 5/6B”

 

Recipes can be traditional family cuisine or favourite weekday meals and snacks. Feel free to upload as many as you wish! 

 

We would love the children to help with the art work for the cookbook. There will be a competition for the students to design the A5 colour front cover and we are also looking for colour or black & white drawings or photos of the recipes that are submitted. These can be dropped into the Cook Book Submissions Box at the school office. Please make sure your child’s name and grade is noted on the back. 

 

We are also seeking local businesses to sponsor our cookbook which means a higher profit for our school. Please email Kate (Flick - 1/2B) on kate@holdsworthelectrical.com for more details. 

 

We aim to have the cookbook available by the start of October at a cost of $25 each or 3 for $60 so please start gathering your recipes. 

 

We hope this compilation of recipes from our community becomes a treasured keepsake of your family’s time at COHR for many years to come.

DISCO – Friday 27 June

Our School Disco is the launching of our Wellbeing Week - the last week of Term 2.

Traditionally our Discos have been split into two sessions (P-2 & 3-6) however this year we will be combining our disco into one whole school session.

 This has been a student request, allowing our student buddies to enjoy dancing away together!

 

This new format will see the disco starting at 6:30pm and finishing at 8pm.

 

Tickets will be sold at $5 per child and that will include a packet of chips and a chupa chup at the end of the night.

 

More information on this when we get closer to this date.
