On Friday 24th November, the students racing in competitive events swam at the school swimming carnival. The competition was tough and the conditions made it even more challenging, however it was great to see all the students enjoying themselves despite the change of plans. Congratulations to Bayada who was the dominant house colour winner, earning 1770 points for their team.
The following students were successful in qualifying for the Conference 3 Swimming Championships to be held early next year:
Alexis D, Mia B, Mac M, Braxton B, Fleur L, April C, Matilda A, Asher H, Luca F, Hunter B, Aisling Y, Chloe G, Eva B, Cooper S, Xavier H, Luke B, Odette S, Lucas A, Marcus B, Indie M, Alana G.B, Cooper A, Ainsley C, Jacob G, Harry E, Poppy T, Isabella M, Victoria T, Axel S, Chelsea G, Harry I and Annabelle S.
I would like to thank the parent volunteers that gave up their time and stood in the rain to assist with the running of events at the carnival. Days like these don’t go ahead without your amazing support.
Anson V (Year 4) recently travelled to Tasmania to compete at the School Sport Australia Athletics Championships. He represented NSW in the Junior Boys Long Jump. Anson competed against the other top athletes from around Australia and jumped a fantastic distance to place 2nd in his event. Well done Anson, we are very proud of your achievements!
