The Level 2 Team

In Level 2 students have been learning about how to measure the length of objects using informal units. Informal units of measurement are non-standard ways of measuring, for example hand prints, fingers, paper clips or cubes. 

Students learned how to measure an object, before using ‘dinosaur footprints’ to measure the length of different items around the classroom. Some items measured included books, the length of tables, and even the height of their classmates!
