Cultural Studies Term 4

We have had a wonderful time learning about 'Celebrations of the World' in Cultural Studies this term! The celebrations we have learnt about in each level were chosen by the students via an optional online survey - Student voice in action!

Students have had the opportunity to share their stories with their class about their own cultural celebrations and traditions. Students have relished the chance to learn about many different fun festivals, delicious foods and important celebrations. 

Some of these celebrations included:

Halloween, Day of the Dead, Thanksgiving, Mid-autumn Festival, Korean New Year, Blossom Festival, Ramadan and Eid, Hanukkah, Children's Day, Kwanzaa and Orthodox Easter
