We are learning to structure our persuasive paragraphs.

VOCABULARY

Paragraph structure:

O stands for Opinion; tell how you feel about the topic. 

R stands for Reasons; tell your readers why you feel this way. 

E stands for Explanations; give your readers examples of why you feel this way. 

O stands for Opinion; tell readers one more time about your opinion and feelings.

Students to practise the OREO paragraph structure. Topics they could use are:

- All schools should have a therapy dog

- Everyone should do their bit to care for our environment

- Protect endangered species

- Make a difference at school
