Student Leadership Team and Captains: 2024

As many members of our community will be aware, last week we announced the student leadership and captaincy outcome to Year 5 applicants. Prior to this, students were involved in a rigorous process of application writing and interviews, which were of the highest standard and quality. We have immense pride for all students that 'threw their hat into the ring' and wanted to represent Wembley as a captain in 2024. 

We would like to proudly announce our newly appointed, 2024 student leadership team and captains:

School vice captains: Sadie O'Connor, Lana Bebic, Amelia Hua, Lucas Anderson

House captains

Cruickshank: Leah Nguyen, Jensen Morpeth

Kulin: Niamh Kelly, Hamish McIntyre

Westgate: Zoe Paice, Kevin Nguyen

McIvor: Charlotte Allen, Amelie Tinkler

Specialist captains

Sustainability and Environmental captains: Marley Martinez, Rose Gibson, Macy Hudson

Congratulations to all of our newly appointed captains and their families. In these last final weeks of school we will also host a celebration lunch for all students that applied to be captains, as a way to acknowledge their efforts and enthusiasm. New captains will also participate in an upcoming captaincy meeting with our current student leadership team for a handover of roles, responsibilities, and projects. 

Parents and families of our 2024 captains, you are invited to this week's Friday assembly, Friday 1st December, where we will present students with the captain badges.
