Meeting Our 2024 Foundation Students
Hello families!
This morning I was lucky enough to meet with our 2024 Foundation students. Reading a book to the children, playing with the playdough and doing a Bluey colouring in with my new young friends, I couldn’t help but reflect on the year of learning that was. The end of year is bittersweet with new beginnings and chapters finishing.
I’m so proud of TPS students and how hard they have worked. As teachers, we get so excited to see our assessment data and celebrate the achievements that our students have made, as well as their personal and social growth. Wow!
Departing from our morning session, one of our 2024 Foundation students shouted, “See you next year!” (See you next week at your next session)
Before the ‘silly’ season starts and 2024 is upon us, I plan to soak up 2023 to the end. At school we do this by keeping up our classroom rituals and routines and being clear about our learning through Learning Intentions and Success Criteria. At home this can be as simple as continuing home reading and discussing the learning of the day.
What went well today?
Has it been rewarding, challenging and fun?
What are you most proud of?
Enjoy and happy learning!
