End of Year Activity Week

Year 8

As we say goodbye to our Senior School, students in Years 7, 8 and 9 had a chance to opt-in to a series of events during their last week at school which aimed to engage and challenge the students in new and useful skills.

Each day, students had the opportunity to attend excursions to the Melbourne Museum, Funfields, Monash Aquatic and the crowd favourite; Rollerama. It’s a great opportunity for students to wind down and ease in to their holidays, enjoying the company of staff and their peers during these exciting activities.

If excursions weren't their forte, in-school activities still offered a large range of choices for the students to opt-in to. New activities included Bob Ross Painting, Mural Study, String Art and Beginner’s Knitting which opened the students to new skills that they could take into their holidays.

Some fan favourites were back this year such as Pour and Paint, Boardgames, Christmas Movies and minor games. These are classics of End of Year Activities for a reason. They are the perfect balance between play and relax, meaning the students (and staff) can settle into some great conversation, some familiar skills and have a great end of the year.

All the students worked incredibly well, showing respect and kindness and forging new friendships with other students doing the activities.

We look forward to End of Year Activities in 2024.
