Term Four Adventures with Our Prep Students
As we welcome a sunny and busy Term Four, we're thrilled to share with you the exciting learning journey that awaits our Prep students.
Reading
In Term Four, our Prep students will step into the captivating world of literature through our Authors Study program. We will introduce them to four different authors, each with their own unique storytelling style. Through the Authors Study, students will explore different writing styles and become familiar with various genres. They will also discover how authors use words to create engaging stories. We will encourage students to critique the books they read, sharing their thoughts and feelings about characters and storylines. Building on their Authors Study experience, students will make connections between the stories they read and their own lives or other texts. This enhances comprehension and makes reading more meaningful.
