NEWS & ADMINISTRATION

Mrs Caroline Galea

Dear Parents,

We are finally at the end of another term. This year continues to keep flying by and next term will be no exception.  We will be starting the Term with a footy colours day.  The children are free to wear items from their favourite footy team on Monday October 2nd. This could mean AFL, soccer or NRL.   There is no gold coin required.

As we move into Term 4, just a reminder that the school day will finish at 3:20pm every day.

With the promise of warmer weather in Term 4, please note that all the children are expected to be in their Summer uniform by Monday 16th October.

Currently, we have a number of staff members on LSL.  While some of them return at the beginning of Term 4, new ones begin theirs. The following staff members will be on LSL in Term 4.

Meagan Baldwin

Anna Bregu

Linda Gigliotti

Vivien Costa

As 1/2 C have already learnt, Mr James Carrocci will be leaving Holy Name and seeking employment outside of education.  We wish James the best of luck in his new job.

Welcome to Holy Name Mass

On Tuesday 3rd October, we will be going across to the church as a school, to participate in our first whole school mass since Father Joe left. This gives us an opportunity to formally welcome Father John.  All are welcome at the 9:00am Mass.

SAC

The Holy Name School Advisory Council meets once a term in the evening to assist in school matters.  Our next meeting will be the last for this year.  One of our current members has come to the end of their time, which means we are seeking a new representative.  If this is something that you might be interested in or want to learn more about, please come and speak to either Derryn or Caroline.
