SUPER Salvado Netball Teams

On 16 September, at the Netball Grand-Finals, the Salvado netball teams did us proud! We had two U-13 teams that were in the Grand-Finals - the Swifts and the Saints.

The Salvado Swifts brought home the Grand Final win for the the Division One U13s, with a massive 39-27 scoreline against a very tough opponent. This is a massive achievement for the Swifts! They all played an exceptional game, and Aliyanna was recognised as MVP on Grand Final Day, and was also awarded MVP out of the whole association!

The Salvado Saints also played a brilliant game in the Division Three Grand Final. They dominated their game up until the last quarter, coming in second by only 1 goal.

We have no doubt that these wonderful teams will make headlines again next year, and more of our netball teams will rise up the ranks too!

None of these would have been possible, if not for the dedication and commitment of our coaches and managers, AND parents who tirelessly ferry the children to and from practices! So thank you to all the fabulous support network! You are wonderful and amazing!

Marvellous Mia  🌟

She emerged 3rd place overall! Well done, Mia! We look forward to great results from you in future competitions!

Best Buds in BMX Championship

On Sunday 1st October, Nate and Cobey (both in PPG) raced for Byford in the BMX Western Australian State Championships at Southside BMX Club.

Championships is the biggest BMX event in WA where all clubs in the State (Kalgoorlie, Bunbury, Collie, and many more) come and compete for State titles.

Averaging 5 years 11 months, Nate and Cobey are in the Sprockets. They participate in these competitions to develop skills and race for fun until they are 8 years old.

Both boys have raced at different WA locations throughout the year and qualified for State Championships! Look at the massive trophies they have earned for racing and completing all 4 required motos (heats) over two days.

What an amazing achievement! We will soon see these two friends go on to race in more competitions and earn more accolades! Well done!
