Looking Smart, Feeling Proud

It’s great to see so many of our students wearing school uniform every day, the new rugby top has been a hit this year and we’re proud to have it in our collection. We have had some feedback that the community would appreciate some simple and clear messaging around the uniform and our sub school teams have been finalising some new infographics to support with this that we will release for 2026 and we’ve been communicating with students around uniform expectations.

We have a flexible and gender neutral academic and sports uniform where students have a great deal of choice over their items. Our uniform also reflects our school value of fairness. When everyone wears it, we show that all students are equally part of our community and no one is left out.

We wanted to provide some clarity today around pants/shorts, please see information below.

Academic:

  • Dark Grey trousers (loose or tailored cut)
  • Dark Grey trouser shorts (loose or tailored cut)

Sports:

  • Black Sports Shorts with no logos that aren't NHS
  • Black Tracksuit pants with no logos that aren't NHS
  • Plain Black leggings with no logos are permitted*

All shorts, tracksuit pants or trousers must be an appropriate length and allow for daily activities without restriction.

*Bike shorts are not permitted.

We have noticed a few students wearing grey tracksuit pants and jeans, which are not part of our approved uniform. Hoodies are also not permitted. Your support in helping your child choose the correct items every day makes a big difference to helping us maintain consistency and promote fairness.

Our uniform was designed with and by students, parents and teachers and students are expected to wear full uniform each day. If your child can’t be in uniform please send them with a note to obtain a uniform pass from the sub school before Period 1. Students can also be provided with loan uniform items from their sub school if this is needed.
