Cyberbullying and Digital Respect

Cyberbullying and Digital Respect: Year 8 Digital Thumbprint Workshop
Our Year 8 students recently participated in the Digital Thumbprint Workshop, a session designed to help young people navigate the online world safely and respectfully. Throughout the workshop, students explored the importance of maintaining respectful relationships online through a series of engaging and thought-provoking scenarios. They were encouraged to reflect on how their words and actions can have a lasting impact in digital spaces. Topics included online consent, image-based abuse, and the growing influence of Artificial Intelligence in shaping online interactions. Students also discussed practical tools andstrategies for supporting themselves and their peers when faced with challenging online situations.
