Student Services: Wellbeing

Each newsletter the Student Wellbeing team share information about events, resources, and other services. Stay tuned!
With Year 12 exams almost complete and assessments wrapping up across other year levels, this time of year can bring mixed feelings for students. It’s common to feel stress, fatigue and (for those lucky enough to be finished already!) a sense of relief. Some anxiety around exams and tests can be really helpful, particularly when it comes to focus and motivation. For some students though, this can be overwhelming. Checking in with teachers and wellbeing staff, learning how to deal with exam anxiety and creating a good study-life balance can make a big difference. If you have any concerns or would like to learn some new strategies to manage these feelings, please reach out to a member of the Student Wellbeing team.
Adults can also play a huge part in supporting the mental health of students and young people. The Student Wellbeing team is thrilled to offer Youth Mental Health First Aid training to parents and caregivers in our school community.
If you would like to be involved, please complete an expression of interest below.
How to apply: Please complete an expression of interest by Friday 21st November.
If you have any questions about either of the above, please contact Katherine.Brissett@nhs.vic.edu.au via email or on 9488 2321. Please notes places are limited.
