It’s been a really busy few weeks in Careers as Year 9s completed Morrisby interviews and Year 10s participated in the final stage interviews for the RIJI program. 

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL YEAR 10S WHO COMPLETED RIJI

What an exciting day we had on October 30th, when the Real Industry Job Interview (RIJI) program culminated with approximately 180 students sitting their mock job interview. Over term 3 students researched jobs and then prepared an application for an advertised position of interest. Those who complete all aspects of the application process had the opportunity to undertake a job interview with one of the wonderful volunteers from a range of industries. Thank you to the Inner North LLEN, Middle School team, Katina, and our army of volunteer interviewers for making the magic happen. 

YEAR 9 MORRISBY PROGRAM 2025

In weeks 4 and 5 our Year 9 students completed their Morrisby interviews. Students spent half an hour one-on-one with a Morrisby Careers Consultant to discuss their assessment reports. Students reflected on aptitudes, interests, personality and ideas for their future – including subjects and career paths.

Morrisby consultants working with our students over the week continually commented on our students’ maturity and positive engagement. Well done to all of the students who participated fully in the program.
