Big Question – How Do We Prepare for Change?
This week, we continue exploring our Big Question: ‘How do we prepare for change?’ Change can sometimes feel uncertain or even a little scary because we get comfortable when things stay the same. Just like starting a new game or learning a new skill, it’s normal to feel unsure at first.
However, change also helps us grow, try new things, and build confidence. Moving into a new classroom, getting to know a different teacher, or meeting new classmates are all changes that can lead to exciting opportunities.
As part of this, our transition process for 2026 begins this week. Students will have time to talk, ask questions, and feel supported as they prepare for what’s ahead.
When we understand change and take small steps to get ready, it feels less scary—and we often realise we are more capable than we think!
Prep 2026 Transition
We’re excited to kick off our Prep 2026 Transition Program tomorrow! This is an opportunity for our new Preps to familiarise themselves with the school and start building connections. We look forward to welcoming our newest community members and their families.

All Saints Day & All Souls Day – This Weekend (November 1 & 2)
This weekend we recognise two significant days in the Catholic calendar:
All Saints Day – November 1
A day when we honour all the saints, known and unknown, who have lived lives of faith, love, and holiness, and are now with God.
All Souls Day – November 2
A special day of prayer and remembrance for all who have died, especially loved ones and those who may still be on their journey to God.
These days remind us of the hope we have in God’s love and the importance of remembering and praying for others, both those who inspire us through their example and those we hold in our hearts.
Prayer for the Week
Loving God,
We thank You for the gift of our priests who guide us with faith and compassion.
We pray especially for Fr Junray, as he celebrates 10 years since his ordination.
Bless him for his dedication, kindness, and the way he leads our community with love.
May he continue to serve with joy, strength, and wisdom in the years ahead.
We also pray for all priests who work to share Your message and care for others.
Fill their hearts with hope and peace as they continue their journey of service.
We ask this prayer through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
God Bless,
Jeremy Darmody
