Headache

Most headaches are not serious. However, sometimes, when associated with other signs and symptoms, headaches may be an indication of a serious underlying condition.

Headaches can generally be treated with the following:

  • Good hydration, healthy diet and exercise
  • Avoiding food, drink or drugs that may cause a headache
  • Maintaining good posture
  • Reducing stress
  • Resting in a quiet, dark room
  • Having an eye test
  • Pain relief such as Paracetamol

Visit your GP if you experience more serious symptoms or if your headaches persist.
