'ALICE THE MUSICAL'

Dear Families,

A reminder for Year 4-5 students that 'Alice the Musical' Auditions close onFriday 21st November- just over 1 week away!

Thank you to those students who have sent in their Google Form and audition videos already - we can't wait to see what the students have come up with!

Over the past few weeks in Performing Arts, we have explored the Script and the Audition Pack in detail to ensure students are familiar with the process.

The Audition Materials are accessible via Seesaw, and also have been emailed to the students' school email accounts. You will be able to access the links if you are logged in to your student's school email account.

The students are welcome to email me any videos if you are experiencing technical difficulties.

2026 Whole School Production 

Dear Families,

We are excited to announce that our 2026 Whole School Production will be Alice the Musical! (based on Lewis Carroll's book, "Alice in Wonderland".)

This production will involve the entire school, from Prep to Year 6, with the 2026 Year 5-6 cohort having the opportunity to audition for the main roles.

We’re sharing the show title early this time so that students who are cast in lead roles will have extra time over the holiday break to familiarise themselves with the script and songs.

The Audition Process:

During Performing Arts lessons this week, Year 4-5 students have been introduced to the audition process and how it will work. The Audition Pack has been posted on Seesaw and emailed to the students' email address. (The links should be accessible using a student email address)

The Audition Pack includes:

• Descriptions of all the Main Ensemble roles – large, small, and in-between
• Links to an Audition Form, the script and rehearsal tracks

Students wishing to audition for a main role will need to submit an audition video(s) on Seesaw by Friday, 21 November. (In-person callbacks may be required after this date.)

All students who audition for a main role will be offered a role in the Main Cast Ensemble.

We will announce the roles before the end of Term 4.

Rehearsals will commence in 2026. More details will be shared in the new year.
