Next Tuesday, we are fortunate to have Real Talk Australia visit our school to facilitate workshops with students from Years 4 & 6.
The time Real Talk spends with our Year 6 students assists parents and teachers to lay a firm foundation on the important topics of personal identity and development, self-worth, good choices and relationships. Year 4 will focus on good choices and cyber safety.
Using personal stories, video content, creative learning, fun activities and games, audience participation and discussions, these sessions encourage students to think critically about their value and contributions to their own world and the world around them.

Next Tuesday, we will pause and remember that the guns on the Western Front fell silent, after more than four years of continuous warfare.
St Edward’s children will remember the day World War I ended; at 11 am on the 11th day of the 11th month, back in 1918. The students will participate in a Prayer service (at each campus).
Our School Captains will attend the Remembrance Day Service on Tuesday, 11th November at the Tamworth Town Hall with Mrs Hatton.

The launch of our annual St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal will begin next week on Monday 10th November. We ask all students and families to donate non-perishable food items that can be put into a Christmas hamper to help those families in our community who are struggling. Donations can be made to the class teachers or at either school office.
Can all Confirmation Candidates please check if they have accidentally taken home the white sash on loan for the Confirmation Mass? We have two missing. If found, please return it to the school as soon as possible. Thank you!
