Essendon Football Club will be hosting our final Next Generation Academy Come & Try Session from 2024, on Wednesday 13th November (5:00pm – 6:30pm) at the NEC Hangar.

 

Our female team will be coached by AFLW Star Bonnie Toogood.

Are you born in 2009, 2010, 2011 or 2012 and qualify for the following criteria: 

 

1. Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander 

 

and/or 

 

2. The player meets AFL N.G.A Culturally Diverse criteria, by a player or at least one parent born from an African, Asian or Oceania (E.g. Cook Islands) country.

 

and/or 

 

3. The player and/or both parents are born in a non-English speaking country (Not Asia, Africa, or Oceania).

 

Event Details:

  • Date: Wednesday 13th November  
  • Participants: Open to male and female participants, both running concurrently in split groups.
  • Time: 5:00pm – 6:30pm  
  • Where: NEC Hangar - Essendon FC (32 Watson Dr, Melbourne Airport)
  • Dress code: Please where comfortable active wear. 
  • Notes: Please bring own drink bottle, mouthguard (if applicable).
