Mazza Mums Rebranding

On behalf of our students, staff, parents and wider Mazenod Community, the College and the Parents Association extends its thanks to everyone who has been involved with the “Mazza Mums” group over the years.

These special volunteers have contributed to the success of a number of key College events, including the College Open Day, the St Eugene de Mazenod Feast Day, the Year 12 Farewell Assembly and the Year 6 Orientation Day, to name but a few.

In particular, a special thank you to our outgoing Coordinator, Belinda Varischetti, and a big welcome to Sarah Keough, our new Coordinator.

As we near the end of the year, we reflect on the number of parents, grandparents, guardians and extended family members who continue to volunteer their time, not only as part of the Mazza Mums group, but in relation to a number of our Sports, Arts and other College events. We are truly blessed to have such a dedicated group of caregivers who tirelessly give up their time when needed.

In the spirit of community and to further embrace diversity and inclusivity within our Mazenod families, the Parents Association is pleased to call on the Mazenod Community for suggestions for a new name for “Mazza Mums”.

To have your say, please email the College at oblate@mazenod.wa.edu.au by the end of Term 4, 2024 with your suggestion/s. The Parents Association, together with the College Leadership Team, will shortlist the suggestions and then discern a new name for this collective group.

Finally, the College also takes this opportunity to remind you that the Volunteers’ Thank You Sundowner will be held between 6pm and 8pm on Thursday 5 December 2024.
