In the past two weeks, we’ve celebrated our club’s players and team achievements at both the season wind-up and the Sports Awards Night!

Medals were awarded for MVPRunner-Up MVP, and the Coaches Award for each team, with so many outstanding players being recognised for their contributions. 

7/8s:

MVP: Malik

Runner-Up MVP: James

Coaches Award: Christian

9/10s:

MVP: Angas  

Runner-Up MVP: Declan and Dylan

Coaches Award: Zac

11/12s:

MVP: Jacob

Runner-Up MVP: Jack

🏆 Our 11/12s and 7/8s teams were celebrated as division winners, proudly receiving their well-earned medals. The energy and commitment from these players has been incredible all season!

A special mention to our 11/12s team, who not only claimed their division but also brought home the Trophy for Best Team in the club! 

 A huge congratulations to Xavier, who received the trophy for the Club’s Best Junior and the Mazenod Hockey Player of the Year. A well-deserved recognition of his hard work, talent, and sportsmanship!

Eli took home the trophy for the Club Senior Men’s Most Improved Male, showcasing exceptional growth and perseverance throughout the season.

Year 12s – Clinton, Anthony, Oliver, Austin, Jack, Xavier and Dylan. To our graduating year 12s, it's been a pleasure witnessing your growth into exceptional players and sharing in your Mazza hockey journey. We'll miss you. As you move forward, we wish you the very best in all your future endeavours, and remember to keep that passion for hockey burning bright!

 

A huge thank you to everyone involved this season—our players, coaches, volunteers, and families. The club’s success is a reflection of the community spirit and love for the game that we all share. Looking forward to an even bigger season next year!


2025 Senior Men’s Hockey

Attention all 11/12 players preparing for the transition to senior men’s hockey! Strengthening and skills sessions are being organized to help you enhance your fitness and sharpen your techniques ahead of the 2025 season. These sessions will be led by the CUHC Men’s Premier League Head Coach and are designed to build the skills needed for senior-level competition.

 

The sessions will be held at Perth Hockey Stadium (PHS) from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, with a mandatory warm-up starting promptly at 4:00 pm.

 

Session Dates:

Sunday, 10 November

Saturday, 16 November

Monday, 25 November

 

There is no cost for attending these sessions, but please be aware that the turf has been reserved, so if you confirm your attendance, a firm commitment is expected. This is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your game in a focused, high-quality training environment.

 

For boarders: If transport is needed, arrangements can be made.
