Year 5 students have been using air-dry clay to sculpt dragon eyes.
Year 6 students have been using H and B pencils to sketch their own realistic self-portraits.
Congratulations to this month's recipients of the Artist of the Month Award - Summer (5S) and Anna (2H). Summer received the award for her oil pastel dragon eye and Anna for her Alma Thomas inspired heart design. Well done to both students!
A group of Year 5 students have been very busy for past couple of weeks creating an amazing star and pair of candy canes for the Westfield Knox Community Christmas display. They generated all the ideas and painted the original images themselves. The theme "Beach Christmas" was chosen to reflect their personal experiences of Christmas and the summer holidays in Australia. Their artwork features beloved Australian animals, capturing the essence of a sunny, festive season. Congratulations to Iris (5D), Harper (5D), Lexi (5D), Millie (5D), Olivia (5D), Chloe V (5D), Joelle (5E), Olivia (5E), Lancy (5E), Chloe Y (5S), and Hayley C (5S) for their creativity and teamwork in bringing their vision to life. Look-out for Karoo's artwork when visiting Westfield Knox over the Christmas period!
Year 2 students have been learning our Instrument families and sorting instruments accordingly.
Year 3 and 4 students have continued to learn about music from different countries and cultures including Hawaii and India.
NoiseCraft Studio Guitar, Keyboard and Drum lessons kicked-off this term at Karoo. Please call Matt if you are interested in enrolling your child.
