Week 2 Term 3

Dear Parents and Carers,

Last Friday was Grandparents' Day at St Fidelis. This was a special day, reflecting on the special role grandparents play in our lives. It was a wonderful opportunity to honour and cherish the wisdom, love and guidance grandparents pass on to their grandchildren.

We enjoyed a special Mass and classroom activity together, followed by a lovely morning tea organised by the Parents and Friends' and the school community. The children were so excited to share their grandparents with their friends and teachers. The joy on both the students' and grandparents' faces was unforgettable.

May this day remind us of all of the blessings that grandparents bring into our lives. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend last Friday.

A Special Prayer For The Grandparents

Dear God,

We thank you for our wonderful grandparents.

They bring such joy and happiness into our lives.

Thank you for all the special times that we have with them.

Please watch over them, protect them and care for them now.

May they know your goodness and love always.

Amen

Thank You – Learning Conversations

A special thank you to all the parents and carers who attended the Learning Conversations at the end of Term 2 and last week. These conversations are a valuable opportunity to celebrate your child’s progress and discuss their learning goals. If you haven’t yet had the chance to meet with your child and their teacher, we encourage you to email the teacher directly to arrange a convenient time. Please aim to schedule your conversation before the end of Week 3. Your partnership in your child’s learning journey is greatly appreciated.

Looking Forward to Next Week’s Dance Performance

We’re so excited for our upcoming dance performance next week. The students have been practising with great enthusiasm and energy, and we can’t wait for them to showcase their hard work and talent. This performance is a wonderful opportunity for students to build confidence, work as a team, and express themselves creatively through movement. We know you’ll be just as proud of them as we are. Thank you for your ongoing support.

We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating our students’ achievements together.
