Year 8 into 9 Subject Selection Evening

It was wonderful to see so many parents in attendance at our Year 8 into 9 subject selection evening. The focus of the evening was providing specific information on subjects from individual faculties. Year 8 students have now completed their elective subject choices for 2026. I hope Year 8 are excited at the prospect of studying subjects of their choosing for the first time in Year 9.

Middle School Semester Two Assessment

Our Middle School cohort are quickly approaching a busy assessment period for their semester two reporting period. The two busiest periods are weeks 8 and 9 of Term 3, and weeks 3 and 4 of Term 4. Please ensure you check in with your son and ensure he is organised and understands the requirements of each assessment task. Students will receive an assessment notification with detailed information about the task no later than two weeks prior to the assessment.

2026 Year 7 Transition Visits

During early Term 4 we will be beginning our transition visits for our incoming 2026 Year 7 students. Each student will be invited to attend one of the afternoons with the rest of the incoming students from their primary school. Students will meet their Year Advisers and be introduced to a cooking, art and wellbeing lessons. Parents of our incoming students will be contacted directly with a permission link and their son’s designated transition afternoon. We look forward to this important part of our Year 7 transition.
