Cost is $2 per family and your first visit is free.

Come and check out the play space, make a craft, play with playdough, explore the sensory play space, and join in with story and song time.

This week we made cats at the craft table to go with the book ’Slinky Malinki Early Bird’ by Lynley Dodd

Next week we will be having fun with hats as we read the book ‘Blue Hat, Green Hat’ by Sandra Boynton.

GROWING FAITH AT HOME

This resource is developed by the Lutheran Church of Australia and is intended to be a guide in sharing faith activities with members of your family.

Here are a few ways you could introduce faith discussions in your home and day-to-day life.

This week the Bible reading tells how the disciples asked Jesus how they should pray.

The answer that Jesus gave forms the basis of what we know today as The Lord’s Prayer.

He said to them, ‘When you pray, say:

‘“Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.Give us each day our daily bread.Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.And lead us not into temptation.”’

(Luke 11:2-4)

Each day, God takes care of our needs and provides for us. To show that we trust in Him and His promises, He asks us to bring our concerns to Him in prayer.  The Lord’s Prayer encourages us to look for God’s will, to ask Him for forgiveness, seek His help in avoiding temptations and to ask for His protection against the devil.

MEALTIME PRAYER

Thank you, God, for this our food, for life and health and every good. May we - more blessed than we deserve - live less for self and more to serve. Amen.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, teach us to pray.  Amen.

BLESSING

(Name) God will meet all your needs.  Amen.
