Green Team

Green Team has been busy! 

Earlier this year, in Term 2, Green Team decorated and planted ‘Plant Pets’ for each class. Since then, the classes have named them and been caring for their plant pets and doing their best to keep them alive. At the end of Term 3, Green Team brought all the plants back together to have a look at how they were all fairing. We inspected closely and voted to choose the ‘Best Looking Plant Pet’. Finally, after much anticipation, the winning class of 5GP and their plant pet ‘Dumblupe’ were awarded their prize - a gnome! An extra congratulation to 5GP for also being the winners of the Nude Food Box for last week with 96% of the class bringing Nude Food. Amazing!

Recently the Green Team were curious to see what kind of litter we had in our school yard. We went outside to have a look around. To our disappointment, we found 130 pieces of rubbish in only 15 minutes including items such as chip packets, juice boxes, straws and lolly wrappers. This is one of the main reasons why we feel Nude Food is so important. Please continue to do your best to bring Nude Food on Tuesdays or better yet, every day to help reduce this litter in our yard.
