Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

I would like to begin by extending my appreciation to our VCE students who are currently navigating their way through their Unit 3/4 exams. This period can be a mix of challenges, stress, and ultimately, rewarding achievements. I encourage all our students to keep up the hard work and to give yourselves the best opportunity of success.

Furthermore, it's worth noting that Year 11 and Year 10 end-of-year exams are rapidly approaching. Year 11 exams are scheduled to commence on the 16th of November, with Year 10 exams following shortly after, beginning on the 27th of November. We will be sharing the examination timetables via COMPASS very shortly.

In addition to these assessments, we have orientation days planned for all students moving into Year 11 and 12 in 2024.  Attendance is of utmost importance, as these days will provide valuable information regarding their chosen subjects for the coming year. Orientation days will commence following their exams with a detailed timetable to be distributed shortly.

It was fantastic to witness the spirited Halloween celebrations at our school this week, with both our staff and students putting some great effort into their costumes. The day culminated in a lively parade during lunchtime. Congratulations to all the prize winners, and I would like to thank the Student Representative Council (SRC) for organising this enjoyable event.

A quick reminder that next week will feature our staff Professional Practice Day on Monday, followed by the Melbourne Cup public holiday on Tuesday.  We hope all our students enjoy a well-deserved long weekend, and we look forward to their return on Wednesday.

Thank you for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community.
