Principal's Report

Dear Parents/Guardians

Last week we had our final School Council meeting for 2023. It was great to have a few new faces to see what the School Council is all about. We will also hold an open meeting early next year.

I would like to thank the work of the School Council this year. The value added through these meetings cannot be underestimated. I appreciate the advice and feedback shared by parents with a range of professional backgrounds. In particular, I would like to thank Simone Nolan (current Council Chair) and Adam Green (previous Council Chair) for the many hours they have given to the School Council. Both Simone and Adam will be finishing up at the end of this year, and we all would like to acknowledge the work they have done during their time on and leading the School Council.

Staffing 2024

I am currently working to finalise staffing for 2024. As you may be aware from the media we are working under a new Enterprise Bargaining Agreement. This combined with the current environment of teacher availability are factors schools are taking into consideration in 2024.

I aim to share our staffing for 2024 in upcoming newsletters.

Garden Beds/ Shade Sail

We have 6 second-hand garden beds available, at $40 each. Please contact Jo if you are interested, payment will secure interest.

We also have the shade sail that was above the old playground/ sandpit available for purchase.
