Upcoming Learning:

During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

Reading: To understand the features and structures of procedures.

Writing: To write a procedure.

Math: To tell the time to the nearest minute.

Social Emotional Learning: To identify conflict resolution strategies.

To identify strategies to help with stress and anxiety.

Humanities/Inquiry: To identify a sustainable problem in our community.

Spelling: To identify the correct spelling of words that end in 'y' and 'i'.

News and Reminders:

Homework- Reminders about the spelling and times table homework. We are also encouraging students to read. Students will have a week to complete their homework.

Wellbeing- It is incredibly important that students are attending school as much as possible and coming to school with enough sleep, in order to learn throughout the day.

Sun Smart- Students must all have their hats for Term 4. Also, a big reminder for students to bring their water bottle especially heading into the warmer months.

Sustainability focus- Humanities is focusing on sustainable living and your child may come home with some suggestions to try at home.

Last week was recycling week. Your child may have information they would like to share about recycling. Please encourage them to do so.
