Upcoming Learning:

During the next fortnight, students will be undertaking learning in the following areas:

Subject	Learning Focus
Reading	Week 8: To revise comprehension strategies. Week 9: To explore different fiction genres.
Writing	Week 8: To understand the structure of an explanation text. Week 9: To explore different fiction genres.
Maths	Week 8: To understand data. Week 9: To understand number sentences.
Inquiry	Week 8 and 9: To understand food production and food waste in the modern world.
Social and Emotional	Week 8: To understand how to work independently. Week 9: To explore who my 5 trusted adults are.

Teachers will stop checking homework books in week 10 but if your child finishes the grid beforehand, continue to utilise My Numeracy and My Literacy for targeted homework activities.

Please ensure your child has a school hat at school as these must be worn outside at all times.
