Asthma in Spring webinar

The National Asthma Council Australia’s Sensitive Choice program is hosting an Asthma in Spring webinar, in partnership with Melbourne Pollen.

This is a free online webinar, discussing thunderstorm asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and how you can stay safe this allergy season.

You may find this helpful in preventing and treating symptoms during the allergy season. It is also a timely event due to the risk of thunderstorm asthma during the November high pollen count.

The National Asthma Council’s Senior Clinical Consultant and Asthma and Respiratory Educator, Narelle Williamson, will be presenting this webinar.

Narelle is a registered nurse and respiratory educator, with over 25 years’ experience in both acute hospital settings and in primary health care.

Tune in to learn about signs of asthma and allergies and managing symptoms this spring. There will also be time to ask questions at the end of the webinar.

Register now and join us at 7:30PM, Thursday 23 November 2023.

Please provide any updated asthma and hay fever action plans to the school nurse so we can effectively and promptly treat your child if they develop symptoms at school.

The DET requests that parents provide these annually if your child does suffer from asthma or hay fever.
