From the Principal
Benvenuto - Welcome
This week has again, been a hive of activity at the college.
Our tired campers returned from the Year 10 City Camp on Friday with lots of adventures to share. The staff on the camp were most impressed by the way the students represented the college and followed the expectations. Hopefully some students have come back with a greater idea of what the city has to offer and the further study options available.
Equally as tired were our 1/2 community who travelled to the Melbourne zoo as part of their learning experiences on Tuesday. Again a successful experience where St Anne’s students embodied the college expectations in action. It was Cherie’s first school zoo trip and she survived, an active learning experience for all!
This week there is a prayer for peace session in Shepparton. Please find in this link a memo from the Executive Director containing a prayer for peace event to pray for peace as a Catholic Education Community. The link for the prayer is contained in the memo.
This week I am taking some long service leave, Cherie and Kate will ably lead the college in my absence. I wish you all a lovely weekend - and a wonderful Melbourne Cup day.
