Marian College – Celebrating diversity

Behind this strange and fairly dated headline sits a Marian College constant – our College welcomes students and staff from many different backgrounds. These days, however, the list is not entirely European but rather from all parts of the globe. 

The top birth places (outside Australia) of our current students are: New Zealand, India, Malaysia, Burma (Myanmar), Vietnam, Philippines, Iraq, Eritrea, Sri Lanka, and Sudan. These are followed by 23 other countries with smaller numbers, and even more cultural groups represented amongst our families.
