If you have a current health care card, please come to the office after completing the permission section - do not proceed to the payment section.
We can assist you in applying for CSEF ( Camps, Sports and Excursion Funds ) This explains what these funds can be used for.
Do you ever find that Compass doesn’t cater for the payment option that would suit your family? If this is the case, please contact us and let us know via a confidential email to kalinda.ps@education.vic.gov.au.
There are lots of different payment options available, but Compass limits us to offering one option to all families. If paying for an event over several weeks, or in smaller payments, suits your circumstances better, we are happy to make this available to you.
For further information please feel free to contact the office on 9876 3289, or by email to kalinda.ps@education.vic.gov.au asking to speak to Jen or Melissa in Finance. All finance and administration matters are strictly confidential, and we are happy to help in any way we can.

Occasionally families will have the need for someone else to pick up their child. For the safety of your child, please complete the attached letter, and contact the office so we can let staff be aware. The form used is a template from the Department of Education, and will remain in the school archives.
Primary School children are unable to leave the grounds, before 3.30 pm by themselves.
It is a Department of Education requirement that we notify parents of any head bumps that occur during the school day, regardless of the severity of the injury.
For minor instances, in the past, we have phoned families with a courtesy call. After a trial period, we have implemented a change to this procedure. Parents will receive a notification by SMS. You will only receive an SMS notification if the head bump appears insignificant in nature.
We will continue to call families for more severe injuries and illnesses, and if a child has further symptoms after a head knock. We hope that this small change will help us interrupt carers less, and help prevent the anxiety some people feel when the school’s number pops up on their phone.

Eligible families can apply for $200 vouchers and use them at a registered Get Active Kids Voucher Activity Provider without having to worry about upfront costs. Vouchers expire 30 April 2024 so members of your community can use their voucher for a summer sport, winter sport or term-based activity.
The vouchers can help pay for sporting equipment, uniforms and memberships in a range of activities from club cricket to dance. There’s also an opportunity to enrol toddlers in a range of activities including important learn-to-swim classes.
To be eligible, kids need to be aged 0 to 18 years, a Victorian resident, named on a valid Commonwealth Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and on a valid Medicare Card at the time of application.
A special consideration stream is also available to support children residing in Victorian Care Services, temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants and international students up to 18 years at the time of application. More information on the special consideration stream is available on the website.
