2024 Foundation

Transition times for 2024 enrolments

Please note the sessions for 2024 Foundation enrolments are as follows. We encourage all newly enrolled Foundation students to attend these sessions.

Please bring a named hat and a water bottle. 

Session #4 Tuesday 5th December: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm 

Students will meet their big school buddies (who will be in G5 for 2024 ) and receive an information pack. These buddies are another special friend in the playground for the 2024 Foundation students to help guide them around the school during breaks. If you are unable to attend this session, please let us know so we can forward this information to you.

On Friday 1st December families will receive an email from their child's 2024 teacher.

This will include an invite to the online meeting which will be held on Monday 4th December.

Starting date for 2024

Students in Foundation for 2024 will begin their school year as a class on Thursday 1st February. Some will begin their testing on Wednesday 31st January (usually reserved for siblings or other students very familiar with our school) Teachers will be in touch regarding which Wednesdays your child will be required to come in for a short time for testing. 

Foundation students do not attend school full-time until the week of 13th March 2024.

New families should now be receiving emails from Kalinda Primary School. Please let us know if this is not the case. In November, Compass login details will also be emailed out. 

Parent Information Meeting

An online parent information session will be on Monday 4th December. Further details will be formalised and shared with parents closer to the date. Please note that this will be an online meeting using a platform called Webex.
