Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. As always, the P&C is grateful for the strong sense of community we share at Chatswood Public School, and we appreciate the many ways families contribute to making our school such a vibrant and supportive place.
Harmony Day – Share Your Cultural Recipes
Harmony Day will be celebrated on 26 March, and the P&C would love to highlight the rich cultural diversity of our school community. We are inviting families to share a favourite cultural recipe, along with a photo and/or a short description of what the dish means to them. It could be something prepared for special celebrations, a comforting family favourite, or a dish that represents your cultural heritage. If we receive enough contributions, we hope to compile them into a CPS community recipe/cookbook. If your family would like to contribute, please send your recipe, photo and description to the school office for collation chatswood-p.school@det.nsw.edu.au.
NSW Health Webinar – Supporting Healthy Tech Habits
Parents and carers of tweens and teens (ages 8–16) in the Northern Sydney region are invited to attend a FREE NSW Health webinar on navigating screen use and supporting healthy technology habits at home.

Northern Sydney District Council of P&C Associations – AGM & General Meeting
We also encourage parents and P&C members to consider attending the upcoming Northern Sydney District Council of P&C Associations (NSDCPC) AGM and General Meeting. This volunteer organisation supports local P&Cs and advocates for public education across our region. As this meeting will be held close to Chatswood, it is a great opportunity to attend, hear updates from the Department of Education, raise issues, and connect with other P&C representatives.
Date: Monday, 23 March 2026
Time: 7:00pm – 9:30pm (you may come and go as needed)
Venue: Willoughby Girls High School, 151 Mowbray Rd, Willoughby
The evening includes refreshments, networking, a school tour, a presentation from the Department of Education, and the NSDCPC AGM. Attendance is open to parents, community members and departmental staff. While an RSVP (info@nsdcpc.org.au) is not essential, letting the organisers know if you plan to attend would assist with preparations.
