District victory!

Congratulations to our netball and soccer teams who both won the District Winter Play-Off competition last Friday.

From swift passes to strategic plays, every moment on the court and the field was exhilarating to watch. All of our players showcased their skills, determination and teamwork. In particular, we would like to congratulate our Most Valuable Players on the day:

• Gong was awarded MVP in netball for her amazing goal shooting and her defence when playing Goal Keeper.
• Finn was awarded MVP in soccer for his incredible defence skills.

Both our soccer and netball teams are progressing to the Beachside Division competitions in Term 3. We wish them the best of luck!

Hockey

This was the first time we have competed in hockey in the District Competition. Our team had a great time and learned some new skills. We look forward to competing again next year. A special thanks to Erika who coached the team.

District Cross Country

Where: Murphy’s Reserve

We have strong representation of athletes at District Cross Country this year. Wishing our team all the best on Friday 17 May. If you’re in the area, come along to Murphy’s Reserve and cheer them on!

The final cross country training session will be held on Tuesday 14 May at 8am.
