Enver Erdogan, the Northern Metropolitan Member of Parliament and Minister visited our school on Tuesday and had a short tour of the new George St building , including the new Foundation rooms, staff room, office and the upgraded learning spaces in 1/2A, 1/2E, 1/2J & 1/2M as well as 6S upstairs.

Great news! In Tuesday`s budget announcement Fitzroy P.S was mentioned in receiving funding for a school upgrade for the Napier St building.

This week we had four AFL Collingwood players visit our very enthusiastic grade 3-6 students. Students had a 30 minute Q & A session with the players and were were keen to find out when they started playing, how often and how long do they train, what their worst injury was, what profession they would like to do if they weren`t playing footy, what sport they would play if they weren`t playing footy and when they were going to retire! They also had an opportunity to get their autographs.
