Last week in community hub we celebrated EID, a festive occasion to mark the end of Ramadan. It was a fantastic turn out of parents, children, school staff and a very special guest, the honourable Mr. Richard Lim OAM. It was a great time to come together to share food and enjoy each other’s company.
On the Heights campus our new time change of 2pm-3.30pm was a huge success with many families attending our Women’s Wellbeing Group. We kick started the term with a yoga session and ended the relaxing session with Rosemary tea demonstration by one of our lovely ladies. We were able to use the Rosemary from our school garden and learnt all the natural health benefits one can have by incorporating Rosemary into their diet such as aiding with memory, promoting hair growth and good for muscle and joint pain. It was also a very delicious tea!
We would also like to thank our wonderful school volunteers for their work in the school garden on Springvale Campus. It looks beautiful and we are excited to keep our school garden growing and looking fresh! If you have a green thumb and would love to help the school with our garden (both campuses!) please contact me!
We are looking forward to the next couple of weeks, with lots of special visits planned.
