Language Other Than English
The students have been very excited to be back at school after having two 2 relaxing weeks off. In Term 3, they are continuing their language learning journey by focusing on different topics in Vietnamese.
The FLC students have been learning to count in Vietnamese. They have participated in various songs and games to help them become familiar with the numbers. Currently, they have learnt to count up to the number 7.
The JLC students, on the other hand, started their term by learning the names of different classroom objects. They were given the task of drawing a bird’s eye view of a table and labelling its various parts.
In the MLC, the students revised the vocabulary related to family members. They created a mini book containing family words, which they can refer to when identifying and naming their family members.
Meanwhile, the SLC students focused on revising how to express their activities during different parts of the day. They practiced writing sentences on Google Slides and used a Vietnamese Keyboard to add the appropriate tones and symbols to their words.
Overall, the students have been actively engaged in their Vietnamese language lessons, exploring vocabulary related to counting, classroom objects, family members, and daily activities.
