All students attending St Louis de Montfort's Aspendale have the right to feel safe. The care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people is a fundamental responsibility of all within our school.
Good afternoon families,
This has been a very short week but have been able to achieve our Year 3-6 Athletics carnival.
Thank you to the many volunteers we had today, your help is greatly appreciated and needed if we want the sports to run smoothly.
Thank you to Mr Andrew for organising such a great event.
ANZAC DAY
Today is ANZAC Day and our 2 school captains represented the school in the ANZAC march and service at the Longbeach RSL service. Thank you to both families for making the time to come along and represent St Louis.
St Louis' Feast Day
Tuesday 29 April we will be celebrating St Louis' Feast day.
9.15 am we will celebrate a whole school mass.
11.45am - 3-6 Cross country
2.15 pm - P-2 Cross country
All students will be able to have a sausage sizzle and a drink. It will not replace their lunch or snack. Parents are most welcome to attend.
PFA
On Tuesday night we had a PFA meeting. The prep parents are organising the Mother's day breakfast on Thursday 9 May 7.00am - 8.30 am
The Mother's Day stall will be on Wednesday 8 May and students can bring money to go to the stall and buy something beautiful for their mums.
We discussed a Movie night on the oval in September and a Chocolate Drive that will allow us to purchase some construction blocks for another outside option for all students.
Reminders:
We have sent out an Operoo to ask if parents would like to go a parent contact list for their class - this will close off on Friday next week and the list will be sent out the following week.
Our Mother's Day Breakfast is coming up soon and bookings for this will close on Monday May 6 if you have not booked please do so before this date using the following link.
