Intermediate Netball Competition

On Tuesday Ashlee Lawrence and myself had the opportunity to take out students from Year 9 and 10 to the Maroondah Nets Netball Stadium.

There were a number of teams present from our Divisional Schools. Both Ashlee and I had two teams A’s and B’s boys and girls teams, both having a couple of training sessions before going to the competition.

Unfortunately, we were not victorious on the day, but the students all played with great endeavor and good sportsmanship.

Considering that for many students, netball was not their chosen sport of interest, all students performed admirably and represented our College with an excellent attitude. 

I would like to also thank our student teachers from Deakin who assisted the teaching staff with their coaching prowess on the day. Thanks go to Rebekah, Sofia and Holly.
