Monash University will be hosting several Discover Monash events or activities over the coming weeks. Unless specified online**, these will be face-to-face events.
Participating in one or more of these events will assist students in making informed choices about their study options after Year 12.

- Bachelor of Actuarial Science/Master of Actuarial Studies
Monash has introduced the new four-year, integrated vertical double-degree allowing students to fast-track registration in this growth industry. The Bachelor of Actuarial Science and Master of Actuarial Studies allows students to complete the Foundation Program and the university component of the Actuary Program which is designed to get the maximum number of exemptions within the shortest time. Students cannot practice as an Actuary without meeting the registration requirements of the Actuaries Institute - Becoming an Actuary | Actuaries Institute.
- Where can a Science Degree Take You?
Jobs in Science can vary depending on the major you select in your Science degree. Students keen on finding out about the broad range of careers a science graduate can enter are encouraged to browse Where can a Science degree take you? Students can watch a number of short videos of recent graduates who have all completed their Science (or double) degree in the past five years. The diversity of careers these science graduates have been employed in provide reassurance about the flexibility of studying science at university.
Access Monash Online Seminars These Online Seminars are led by experienced Access Monash mentors, giving students valuable first-hand insight into the university. Mentors provide handy tips and tricks and insider knowledge to assist students in their decision-making for the future. The following seminars will take place on Wednesday evenings in May and are open to Year 11 and 12 students. Registration is essential – register here.
